nine fine
first songs

with The Head And The Heart

In honor of our first issue, we asked The Head and the Heart vocalist, guitarist and songwriter Josiah Johnson to tell us his favorite first songs on albums. He took us in a slightly different direction, saying, “I didn't really go with necessarily my favorite songs that happened to be first on an album, but more the songs that kinda set the tone for the band's first album or changed the game for already established bands. Songs that make you feel like you don't know what hit you, which is my favorite kind of first song.”
